The Catawba Valley Pride Board of Directors cordially invite all LGBTQ+ people and allies to TransPride 2026 on Saturday, April 11th from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The event is held annually in the spring near National Trans Day of Visibility. This is an all-ages friendly event featuring a vendor fair, drag entertainment featuring transgender artist - including our own Mr., Ms. And Mx. Catawba Valley Pride. There will be music, dancing, food trucks, and community resources.
This year’s theme is “EXISTENCE IS RESISTANCE!”. The event will be held on the grounds of Unifour Church at 2257 Old Conover-Startown Rd, Newton NC. Unifour Church is a 30+ year old LGBTQ+ welcoming and affirming church.

This includes a 10x10 space on the property. If inclement weather causes issues, the event will be moved inside the church. We would ask to not bring a tent in that case.
