Pride Celebration

To provide an annual opportunity to generate celebratory, cultural, artistic, and educational events which affirm the lives of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transsexual, transgender, two-spirited people, and supporters through activities which promote unity, inclusion, and awareness of sexual and gender diversity as well as to increase public awareness of the LGBT community so as to eliminate homophobia, transphobia, and discrimination.

Catawba Valley Pride Inc. is a non-profit organization and is currently in the process of applying for IRS 501(c)(3) status. Until that is awarded, your generous donations are not tax deductible but are greatly needed as we strive to fulfill our mission in the first year of existence. Having just formed Aug, 2010; we expect to secure our tax-exempt status in 2011.
